Escape the Zoom is everything you love about escape rooms without the claustrophobia. It’s a customizable puzzle game where teams work together with a live actor host to unravel mysteries both online and offline: call a phone number to find a website password to decode a puzzle that unlocks the door and wins the game!

about the event

Dear Detectives,

It seems that there's an evil man named Zoom, who has been kidnapping people and locking them into rooms. Our agency has identified some hostages, and you must work with your team to:
· track down clues
· decode messages and solve puzzles
· and figure out how to help the client Escape the Zoom….

We've set up a secured video-chat link for you to meet the hostage and to gather information.

Teamwork, communication and creative problem solving are required. Find clues in your host’s environment that lead to online puzzles.

For larger groups, players are split into teams of 5-10 players (with one actor/facilitator per team) to compete for the best times.

HOW TO PREPARE

Just log into the video chat link at the time of your game and our facilitators will take care of the rest. For this event, we recommend a desktop or laptop for the best experience. You might want to have some scratch paper and a writing utensil nearby for puzzle solving. Even if you’re in the same conference room, every participant should join on their own device. One puzzle will require you to use two devices, so have a phone or tablet handy.
