Founded by an MIT and Stanford trained neuro-biologist with extensive experience in community building and corporate team-building, our company designs team bonding activities that help people connect

We are on a mission to improve human connections through playful experiences, even if those humans are thousands of miles apart. In addition to remote team-building adventures, which we’ve been hosting since 2017, we also design and host in-person and hybrid events for teams of 4 to 1000. Whether it’s an introverted group of software engineers or a rowdy sales team, we’ve got a fun activity for your group!

Patchwork Adventures creates joy and connection through team-building experiences designed for remote, hybrid, or in-person teams. We are passionate about building authentic human connection through games and we delight in creating a fun shared experience for teams to enjoy. We make it super easy to organize and customize an activity for team-building groups of 4 to 1000. Get ready to laugh, to think, and to build community.

Based on neuroscience, built to create connection

Our theory of change is based on the neuroscience of human connection.

We create shared experiences on video-conference that result in the release of oxytocin and dopamine, neurotransmitters that are responsible for bonding/connection and happiness. The release of these neurotransmitters creates new synaptic pathways inside each participant’s brains that leads to them connecting and bonding with their coworkers.

During a Patchwork Adventure, participants must demonstrate:
Effective communication skills
Collaborative problem solving skills
Insightfulness
Critical thinking
Divergent Thinking
Consensus building skills
Teamwork

Our expert team of facilitators have decades of experience building community, facilitating team-building events, and fostering an environment of trust in the workplace.

By sharing this Patchwork Adventure with co-workers, employees feel more connected to their team, more engaged in their work, and more invested in their companies. This leads to more collaboration, more communication, more productive employees, and more company profits. It also leads to less employee turnover and burnout, less sick and PTO time used, and less misunderstandings and conflict in the workplace.

We’ve performed extensive research on the science of human connections, both inside and outside of the workplace.

Our activities are designed with this research in mind, to help teams connect and work better together.
